BHC Small Business Incubator: Pre-Incubation Program

We’re excited to announce an incredible opportunity for current and aspiring entrepreneurs in our vibrant Brownsville community. Central Brooklyn Economic Development Corp and the Brownsville Hub Cooperative are proud to introduce the Small Business Incubator. 

The incubator will serve as a medium to generate wealth for our community by uplifting Black entrepreneurs and owning our spaces. We hope to create joint venture opportunities, franchise existing businesses and keep those dollars in Brownsville! To begin, we have partnered with Chase Bank for a series of Financial Workshops designed to empower local dreamers, innovators, and business builders on their path to success.

There will be a hybrid Incubator information session held at 69 Belmont Avenue at 4:30PM on October 25th, followed by 4 virtual workshops, and  an in-person pitch competition to Chase Bank representatives and community partners. The schedule is as follows:

• 10/25/23 – 4:30 PM – 5:45 PM: Brownsville Incubator Information Session (Hybrid)

• 11/8/23 – 4:30 PM – 5:45 PM: Understanding & Building Credit (Virtual)

• 11/15/23 – 4:30 PM – 5:45 PM: Improving Credit & Managing Debt (Virtual)

• 11/29/23 – 4:30 PM – 5:45 PM: The Power of Capital (Virtual)

• 12/6/23 – 4:30 PM – 5:45 PM: Digitalized Marketing (Virtual)

• 12/13/23 – 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM: Pitch Competition (In Person)
