Press Conference: New York Equity + Environmental Justice Center (EEJC)

It is a privilege to invite representatives of the community, businesses, government and media to the press conference announcing the collaboration of the B’Ville Hub to launch the New York Equity + Environmental Justice Center (EEJC) Brooklyn NYC. EEJC is a social equity collective consisting of public-private partners accelerating equity and environmental justice for all. This critical work is accomplished through sustainability, corporate social responsibility and placemaking.
The objective of the press conference is to foster engagement and participation among industry leaders, government, and community to learn about our new mixed-use commercial development projects being led by Central Brooklyn Economic Development Corporation, efforts to advance New York’s commitment to reach 100% zero-emission electricity by 2040 (including disadvantaged communities receiving 35% – 40% of overall benefits of spending on clean energy and energy efficiency programs, projects or investments) and advance small business and workforce/labor opportunities across sectors such as construction, offshore wind, solar, healthcare, law enforcement and maritime industries.
