Adapting to the Future of Work: Dream Up

JobsFirstNYC is hosting its seventh annual Adapting to the Future of Work event series for young adults with the theme of Dream Up, from 9:30 am-1:30 pm on July 28, 2022. This event is intended to inspire 16- to 24-year-olds to dream big and take control of their future. Young adults who attend and fill out our post-event survey will receive a $25 gift card! Staff are also welcome to attend.
JobsFirstNYC is once again holding the “My City, My Community” Pitch Competition for 16- to 24-year-old young adults who can submit their big ideas on how to make their communities better. All that is needed to apply is a 1-minute video and a 500-word summary describing the challenge and proposed solution. More information can be found below.
JobsFirstNYC’s “My City, My Community” Pitch Competition
What you need to apply: A 1-minute pitch for a product or service idea that addresses a community need
Who can apply: Any 16- to 24-year-old living in one of the five NYC boroughs
Where: This is a virtual event conducted through video submissions. The finalists chosen will compete for cash prizes during JobsFirstNYC’s Adapting to the Future of Work Young Adult Day event, which will take place on July 28th from 9:30 am-1:30 pm.
What you would win: Cash prizes vary in amount, with $2,000 awarded for first place.
Deadline: Apply by July 21, 2022.
