WCC is excited to kick off the Winter/Spring 2023 Workshop Series with an interactive, introduction to civic engagement workshop, designed and facilitated by last year’s inaugural Civic Matters Workshop Design Team! Attendees will leave with an understanding of civic engagement basics, learn about local women changemakers, and practice a civic skill.

In partnership with the Gun Violence Prevention Task Force, please join us for a convening focused on community safety in Brownsville and Ocean Hill hosted by the Mayor’s Office, DOHMH, DYCD, Man Up & BCJC. The convening will be held at the following location: Brownsville Community Justice Center  (Dinner and childcare will be provided) Address: 50 Belmont Avenue (between Osborn Street andWatkins Street), Brooklyn, NY 11212 Date: Wednesday, February 15th, 2023 Time: 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. (Doors open at 5:30p.m.)
