We are pleased and excited to share with you employment opportunities becoming available in our residential housing portfolio. This is a Permanent Affordability Commitment Together (PACT) project. The goal of PACT is housing preservation which entails the renovation and rehabilitation of 1700 units. Our particular portfolio spans across four neighborhoods: East New York, Brownsville, Crown Heights, and East Flatbush. We are interested in sharing these employment opportunities, which include property management, construction, and maintenance, with our stakeholders and the community.

America Works has partnered with Cornell University to host their Nutrition & Health program at our office on 8/25/23. It is a 6 series workshop and opened registration up now! Classes are hands on so expect to plan and cook healthy meals! Classes will be held on the second floor of the Greg Jackson Center for Brownsville every Friday at 9:30AM.
RiseBoro will be hosting a Back to School: Book bag Drive at the Brownsville Community Culinary Center on Friday, August 25th from 3-6pm.  Book bags (School Supplies Included) will be given out on a first come first serve basis. All participants must either have their child present with them or show some form of identification for their child to receive a book bag. This is to ensure that the book bags and supplies are given to those who need it most.Â
